Manoj Singh is Senior Vice President & Head – Cargo (Mumbai International Airport Ltd- MIAL). He is associated with MIAL more than 08 years.
He is responsible for Overall Cargo Operation, P & L of Cargo department, Business Development and Cargo Master Plan.
Manoj has rich experience of more than 28 years in Aviation on pan India basis. He has expertise in cargo & ground Handling management, commercial & business Development, profit center & revenue management, project management, new technologies, marketing strategies, networking, customer relations, safety standards, ramp handling functions, perspective planning, airline functions, airline contracts, and logistic related issues.
Prior to joining MIAL, he was working with the Menzies Aviation Bobba Bangalore as Chief Executive Officer responsible for P&L of the Company. Within Menzies Aviation he had played a vital role of Commercial Manager (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh &Srilanka) and as General Manager-Cargo for its start up greenfield project in India namely Bangalore and Hyderabad, taking responsibility of project development, operations, commercial, safety & security, IT & business development. He also worked with Lufthansa Cargo and Airports Authority of India.
Manoj has Diploma in “Airport Executive Leadership Program” from ACI through “Concordia University, Montreal” and completed his MBA in marketing from “Chetna Institute of Management – University of Mumbai”, MCOM Business Management from University of Mumbai, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management (Gold Medalist) from “BharatiyaVidyaBhavan, Mumbai”.
He has been recently appointed as Co-chairman- Shipping & Air Logistics committee by Indian Merchant Chamber in the year 2017- 2018. He was awarded for his outstanding achievement in Air Cargo Industry by many international trade bodies and various air cargo stakeholders. He has been instrumental in implementing the India’s first “Air Cargo Community Digital Platform – GMAX” at Mumbai airport. He has led Mumbai airport cargo to become one of the leading e-freight compliant station and the first cargo airport in India to achieve IATA CEIV Pharma accreditation along with becoming strategic member of Pharma.Aero.
